East Jakarta Pusip Holds Documents Restoration and Digitization Services in Cipinang Muara

East Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency (Pusip) Sub-agency held important documents restoration and digitization services from Friday (3/19) to Tuesday (3/23) at Cipinang Muara Urban Village Office, Jatinegara, which focused on flood victims.

In three days, there were 78 residents who submitted proposals for digitizing important documents

East Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency's Archives Section Head, Muhammad Hazairin stated, this service was provided for residents whose documents were damaged due to flood that occurred some time ago. But other residents who are not flood victims can get the same services. On the condition that they brought their damaged docume nts.

"For three days we hold the service, no residents restore their documents. Most of them come to digitize their documents, from diploma, family cards, birth certificates, marriage certificates, and other important documents," he explained.

In three days, there were 78 residents who submitted proposals for digitizing important documents.

Cipinang Muara Urban Village Secretary, Ciptono appreciated East Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency for its restoration and digitization services for important documents which provided for local residents within three days.

According to him, his side has socialized this service to residents, especially residents at RW 13 and RW 12 who affected by flood in February.

"We have socialized archives restoration and digitization services program to residents since last Thursday," he conveyed.
